The key features of Mk3:

1. Field upgradeable. When there is a new firmware update, you may upgrade it by yourself.

2. Fast power on. Only 1 second from turning on the power to shooting pictures. Was 5 seconds on Mk1 and Mk2 adapters. 

3. Supports phase detection AF when working with A7RII, A7II and A6300 camera bodies. Its AF speed is much faster than previous A7 series bodies' contrast AF and comparable with SLRs.  

 

General description:

    I developed this adapter by myself. It can let Contax N mount and C645 lens (NAM-1 required) do auto aperture control and auto focus on E mount (A7 Series/Nex) bodies. E mount camera (None A7RII/A7II/A6300) owners:    
    Please make sure you understand AF limitations before your order.   Because N mount and C645 lenses are all designed for SLR, when working with contrasting AF bodies, AF performance may be far poorer than SLRs. Even native contrasting AF lenses such as E mount lenses’ AF performance may be much better. Actually, the original contrasting AF adapters (LA-EA1 and LA-EA3) perform even poorer than my adapter does. Thus, some N/C645 lenses’ AF process may be slow, noisy, not accurate enough, etc. That’s normal and is not the malfunction of the adapter.  
 
A7RII/A7II/A6300 owners:
    Fringer adapter Mk3 supports phase detection AF when work with A7RII, A7II and A6300. It's way faster than contrast AF and comparable with SLRs. However, due to possible parameter mismatches between N/C645 lenses and bodies’ AF module, some of N/C645 lenses' AF may fail or be not accurate enough under certain circumstances such as low light, close object and low contrast object, etc. That’s normal and not the malfunction of the adapter. 
 
After-sale service
1. 1-month return or replacement
    Within one month after you purchased the adapter, if the adapter works abnormal or not as described, you may return it to me and get full refundment or a new replacement. If the defects are caused by design or manufacturing, I will pay the shipping cost. 
 
2. 1-year warranty.
    Within one year after you purchased the adapter, if you encounter any problem, you may send it back to me for fixing. If it's not caused by abnormal usage, I'll repair it for free. However, you still need to pay all the shipping cost and a handling charge ($10 each time). 
 
3. Life time service.
    You can always rely on my after sale service, even after the free warranty period. But you may need to pay for the relevant cost.
